Sushil Kumar gets land from Haryana Govt. for wrestling academy

New Delhi: Two-time Olympic medal winner wrestler Sushil Kumar has received the eight acres of land that was promised to him by the Haryana government for setting up his academy at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat. “It’s an honour that Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda gave me eight acres land to start the world class wrestling academy and I would like to thank him for this kind gesture,’ Sushil said in a statement. New Delhi: Four foreign direct investment proposals totaling Rs 502 crore have been cleared by the Government. “Based on the recommendations of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in its meeting held on December 9, 2013, government has approved four proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to Rs 502 crore,” the Finance Ministry on Tuesday said in a statement.
