UAE asks Arab, African countries to promote tolerant religious approach

Rabat: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has urged Arab and African parliaments to present the moderate and tolerant approach of their religions to the other world cultures to dispel misunderstanding and extremism towards Arab, Islamic and African cultures. US to try to open consulate in Tibet

Cabinet approved plans for two communication satellites

New Delhi: The cabinet has approved GSAT-15 and GSAT-16 communication satellite projects to create an in-orbit spare capacity to meet any contingency and protect the services of existing users, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said on Friday. Dehradun: Weather conditions once again interrupted the crucial rescue operations in flood-hit Uttarakhand as intermittent rains in Kedarnath and Guptkashi hampered the process of clearing of debris and pulling out of bodies lying underneath.
