President shifted and appointed governors on Friday

NEW DELHI: On Friday President Pratibha Patil appointed former Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah, 78, and two Congress veterans as governor. Governor of Jharkhand MOH Farook has been shifted to Kerala. Rosaiah has been appointed to the Raj Bhavan in Chennai replacing Surjit Singh Barnala, who took over as Tamil Nadu Governor on June 20, 2006.
